At Mc Carthy Kitchens, our Social Nights have quickly become one of the most anticipated events in our calendar and it’s no wonder why. What began as an intimate gathering of clients and friends has blossomed into a series of celebrated cultural evenings where food, music, and storytelling come together in a symphony of flavours and experiences.
Our guests aren’t just attending a dinner; they’re embarking on a sensory journey. Each event explores a unique corner of the world (or a cherished aspect of our own heritage), blending authentic cuisine, music, and cultural insight in the heart of our Mc Carthy Kitchens studio.

With every passing month, tickets have become increasingly in demand and word is spreading fast. From heartfelt family gatherings to elegant nights of fine dining, these evenings capture what we believe food is truly about: connection, culture, and conversation.
So, without further ado, let’s take a peek at what’s in store for the first quarter of 2026.

January: Puerto Rican Night — In Honour of Blanca
Our first social night of the new year promises to be a vibrant celebration of colour, rhythm, and Caribbean warmth. In late January, we’ll be hosting Puerto Rican Night, honouring our Senior Design Consultant, Blanca Breen, whose proud Puerto Rican roots have inspired this special event.
Puerto Rico’s food culture is a melting pot of Spanish, African, and Taíno influences, a reflection of the island’s rich and diverse history. Expect a lively evening brimming with tropical flavours, infectious beats, and an atmosphere that will transport you straight to San Juan.

Guests will be treated to an exploration of traditional dishes such as:
Mofongo - a savoury masterpiece of mashed plantains, garlic, and crispy pork crackling, served with rich, soulful broth.
Arroz con Gandules - Puerto Rico’s national dish, bursting with flavour, featuring rice, pigeon peas, and aromatic sofrito.
Tembleque - a silky coconut dessert with a whisper of cinnamon, the perfect sweet note to end the evening.

Music will play a central role, think salsa rhythms, bomba beats, and a touch of reggaetón to get you moving between courses. Our Puerto Rican evening isn’t just about food; it’s about energy, culture, and community.
The guest chef for this event will be announced soon and trust us, it’s one you won’t want to miss. Tickets are already generating buzz, so we recommend getting in touch early to learn more and secure your place.
February: A Night for the Irish Language - Our Heritage, Our Heart
Our February social night will be a deeply personal celebration, one that’s close to home for the Mc Carthy Kitchens family. In late February, we’re hosting an evening devoted to An Ghaeilge, the Irish language and to the culture, pride, and tradition it embodies.
At Mc Carthy Kitchens, we’re proud to count fluent Irish speakers among our team, and this event has been a dream in the making for quite some time. It’s more than a dinner, it’s an ode to who we are, to the beauty of our native tongue, and to the warm traditions that have shaped Irish homes and kitchens for generations.
Picture a fireside-inspired evening in our studio, filled with the sound of Irish music and the scent of home-cooked dishes that speak of comfort and kinship. Expect plates that tell a story. From hearty colcannon and brown soda bread to elegant reinventions of traditional fare like seafood chowder with a modern twist or beef and Guinness braised short ribs that melt at the touch of a fork.
As always, a guest chef will be joining us, perhaps a beloved friend of the studio, or maybe someone entirely new who shares our passion for Irish cuisine. The details are under wraps for now, but what we can promise is an evening of authenticity, laughter, and pride.
Keep an eye on our socials for updates. We’re working on something special.
March: Fine Dining Collaboration — For the True Foodies
To round off the first quarter of 2026, we’re going out with a bang. Our March Social Night will be a collaboration with a local, prominent restaurant and renowned chef, blending the artistry of professional fine dining with the warm, inclusive atmosphere that defines Mc Carthy Kitchens.
This event will be a showcase of culinary excellence, a true foodie’s paradise. Expect a meticulously curated tasting menu that celebrates local Irish produce with modern flair. From delicate amuse-bouchées to decadent desserts, this will be an evening of sophistication and creativity.
We’ll also be hosting interactive cooking demonstrations throughout the night, allowing guests to step behind the counter, ask questions, and learn from the best in an informal, relaxed setting. You’ll see techniques up close, pick up recipes to recreate at home, and engage in conversation with the chef in a way that’s rarely possible in a traditional restaurant setting.

Such is the excitement surrounding this event that a waiting list has already begun, proof that our Social Nights have become a must-attend experience in the local culinary calendar.
If you’re passionate about food, culture, and connection, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
A Final Word — Food, Culture, and Connection
What makes Mc Carthy Kitchens’ Social Nights truly special isn’t just the food, though the menus are, without question, exceptional. It’s the sense of community, of storytelling, of celebrating the people and places behind every dish.
Whether you’re joining us to dance to the rhythms of Puerto Rico, to raise a glass in honour of the Irish language, or to indulge in a fine dining collaboration that will leave your taste buds inspired, each event is crafted to remind us that food is more than nourishment. It’s culture. It’s heritage. It’s connection.

So join us this season. Bring your friends, your curiosity, and your appetite. Because at Mc Carthy Kitchens, every meal has a story.
